Dorothy M. Schrauben, 69, of Portland died Tuesday, May 10, 1994.  She was born
in Westphalia on Feb. 5, 1925, the daughter of John and Martha (Fedewa) Bohr. 
She was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church, the altar society, and the
Church Districts.

She is survived by her husband John; six daughters: Susan Beech and Marilyn
Heilman, Roxanne Pline and Doreen Spohn all of Portland, Beverly Swink of
Charlotte, Patricia Rose of Belding; four sons: David Schrauben of Ionia, John
A. Schrauben, Philip Schrauben, and Greg Schrauben all of Portland; 18
grandchildren; five sisters, Romilda Manning of Westphalia, Rosella Bohr and
Joan Bohr both of Lansing, Mary Ann Wieber of Fowler, Adelaide Anderson of
Detroit.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and one daughter, Margo Ann.

Friends may call at the chapel Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. where the family
will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Rosary will be prayed Thursday at 3
and 8 p.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman Co., Neller Chapel, Portland.  Mass of the
Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Patricks Catholic
Church, Portland with the Rev. Larry King officiating.  Internment will follow
in Portland Cemetery.
