The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, March 24, 1943


Mrs. Herman Schroeder, a former Ionian who had been living in Detroit, died 
suddenly Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock at her home in Detroit, as the result of 
a heart attack.  She had lived in Ionia for nearly eight years.

She is survived by her husband, Herman; four daughters; her parents, Mr. and 
Mrs. L. Dehm of Remus; one brother, Donald Dehm, with the armed forces 
somewhere in Alaska.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Remus and 
burial will be in the Remus cemetery.
