The Ionia Standard, Friday, February 22, 1895
Mrs. Sally Seekins died Thursday at the home of her son, James A. Sage.  She 
was in her 95th year, being possibly the oldest person in the county.  She has 
been confined to her bed something over a year, but up to that time retained 
the use of her faculties, physical and mental, to an unusual degree.  Her 
death was very sudden, at the last.  

The funeral was held at the residence of Mr. Sage, 335 East Washington, at 10 
a.m. Saturday, services by Rev. D. F. Barnes.  The remains were taken to 
Berlin, Ottawa county, for interment, leaving on the 11:49 train.
