The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, April 28, 1930

Robert Sleeth, who since he retirement from active life has spent a vigorous 
old age with his children and the last seven years with his daughter, Mrs. 
Nelson Brown, 532 North Jackson street, passed away Saturday, April 26, at 
4:30.  He was in his ninetieth year.  The funeral services will be held from 
the home of Mrs. Brown Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock and the body taken to 
Spring Hill cemetery, Fargo, St. Clair county, for interment.

Mr. Sleeth was a native of Canada but came to St. Clair county a great many 
years ago.  He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Brown; Mrs. Margaret Shiel, of 
Detroit, and Mrs. Minnie Howard, of Saskatchewan, Canada.
