CAROL ANN SMITH
Baldwin
Carol Ann Smith 71, of Baldwin, formerly of Portland. Carol passed away at home 
December 04, 2016 after a brave fight with cancer. Born September 05, 1945 in 
Highland Park, Illinois. She was a retired nurse who enjoyed her dogs, quilting, 
traveling and spending time with her beloved daughters and grandsons.

Carol is survived by her husband, Joseph L. Smith III, daughter Kami D. 
Feldpausch (Thomas) Of Eagle, MI., daughter JoAnn M. Fritch (Markus) of 
Manchester, CT. and daughter Heidi D. Smith (Jason Cuttle) of Charlotte, MI. She 
is also survived by two sisters, Pamela M. Perkins (Thomas) of San Antonio, FL, 
and Barbara J. Martin (Jeff) of Portland, OR. Carol also leaves behind seven 
grandsons, Adam Rivera, Kyle Nichols, Joshua Rivera, Cody Cuttle, Daniel 
Gibbons, Brendon Smith and Dominick Fritch, sister-in-law, Barbara Alexander, 
two nephews, Christopher and Mark Perkins, and two nieces, Brigitte Pricco 
(Scott) and Jaime Martin.

A small service for family is being held Friday, December 09, 2016, at St Anne's 
Church in Baldwin, MI. A memorial to celebrate her life will be held in the 
Spring for family and friends at a time to be determined.
