The Ionia Standard, Friday, December 8, 1912
West Sebewa.  Dec. 4.—Mrs. Jeanette Smith passed away on Sunday morning, at 
the home of her daughter, Mrs. Geo. Core, after a short illness of not a 
week.  She leaves three children to mourn her death.  She was aged 76 years, 4 
months, 15 days.  She was a faithful Christian, and was ready to meet her 
Savior.  The remains will be buried in the Baptist cemetery on Wednesday.
