Robert E. Snyder, 92, of Lakeview, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2005, at
Spectrum Health United Memorial Kelsey Campus, Lakeview.  He was born in Smyrna
on July 31, 1912, the son of Marvin and Verna Jones Snyder. 

He was preceded in death by son, Marvin Snyder, in 2002; and sister, Mable Rice.
 He is survived by his wife, Juanita; son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Mary
Snyder of Lakeview; two granddaughters, Patty Snyder of Bakersfield, Calif.,
Nancy and Finton Smyth of Ireland; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alma
MaGann of Hesperia, Barbara Gatsfield of Fremont; nephew, Eric Snyder of
Missouri; and niece, Theresa Hargrove of Florida.

At the request of the family cremation has already taken place and a graveside
service will take place at a later date.  For those who wish to remember Robert
in a special way, contributions may be made to Cato Township Library or United
Church of Christ in his name.  Youngman-McCullough Chapel, Lakeview, is in
charge of arrangements.
