The Ionia Weekly Standard, Friday, July 23, 1915
Pewamo, Mich., July 19.  Marion, the 11-year-old daughter of Harry Snyder, a 
Pewamo merchant, while walking to a fire with her father, stepped off the 
sidewalk and was struck by a motorcycle.  She was cut about the head and back 
and was unconscious when the motorcycle was lifted from her body.  She died 
later.  The motorcycle was operated by A. Fowler, a telephone lineman, who had 
just taken a passenger aboard and was getting under way when the accident 
occurred.
