Joseph E. Springsteen, 68, of Ionia, passed away Monday afternoon, Dec. 13,
2004, in Ionia.  He was born Feb. 14, 1936, in Lansing, the son of Clinton and
Mary Eddy Springsteen.

Joseph attended Open Bible Church in Ionia and had retired as a janitor for
Ionia Public Schools.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and two daughters, Sara Warren and
Mary Jo Springsteen.  He is survived by his children, Lori Springsteen of
California, Kelly and Sergio Villalobos of Belding; fiancée, Deanna Loucks of
Ionia; four grandchildren, Miranda Sanchez, Paula Sanchez, Michael Warren,
Matthew Warren; and brother Russell Watson of Williamston.

Funeral and committal services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Johnson-Feuerstein
Funeral Home, Belding, with Pastor Steve Yarrington of Open Bible Church
officiating.  Interment is in Balcolm Cemetery, Ionia.  Visitation is one hour
prior to the service.
