KRISTEN LEE SUMMERS

Died August 2, 2026-age 79 in her sleep peacefully.
Born June 4, 1947, daughter of Miles & Ethel Benedict.
Kristen grew up in the Belding area & graduated from the Belding high School.
She pursued a higher education graduating from Indiana University.
Kristen's home was a gathering place for many, for a hot meal, a place to feel 
welcome, an open heart.
Kristen liked to play Canasta, a lifetime of laughter, extra special love for 
the grandkids
Survived by her devoted husband, Jimmy Summers, her loving children, Jennifer 
(David) Watt, Melissa (Jenny Seckinger)Summers & James (Tiffany)Summers; her 
cherished grandchildren,Ricardo (Gracie), Isabella, Avery, Tiberus, Amelia, 
Theodore & great-grandchild,Moses; her sister Peggy (Jerry) Howell; her sister-
in-law,Claire Benedict, many nieces & nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents Miles Sr & Ethel Benedict, her brother, Miles 
Benedict Jr.
Funeral services August 6, 2026 at 11am at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, 203 
S.Pleasant , Belding, MI 48809, followed by a luncheon at Family Life Center 
Church of God, 8683 Storey Rd, Belding, MI 48809.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests that memorial contributions be made in 
Kristen's memory to Ronald McDonald House Charities West Michigan (1323 Cedar
