IONIA- John (Jack) Frances Talbot, 76, died Friday in North Park, Fla. He 
was born in Grand Rapids on June 12, 1903. On Dec. 29, 1924, he married 
Lenna Seman, who survives.

The couple lived in Ionia for several years. He belonged to the Knights of 
Columbus and the Elks Club. They moved to Seneca Falls, N.Y. where they 
lived for several years and retired before moving to North Park. 

In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert 
(Jeanne) Shafer of Saginaw, Sheila Talbot of North Park; one daughter-in-
law, Mrs. Merle Ee of Grand Rapids; one son, John of North Park; 12 
grandchildren; two brothers, Ed and Bill Talbot, both of New York; four 
sisters, Mary Dehn, Catherine Sutherl, Mary Bryne and Ethel Cooper, all of 
Grand Rapids. 

One son, Richard, preceded him in death in 1954.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at the San Pedro Catholic Church in 
North Park.

Memorial services will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery on Nov. 12, at 1 p.m.
