The Ionia Daily Standard, Tuesday, April 11, 1893

Mrs. James N. Taylor died about 10 o’clock this morning.  Her maiden name was 
Josephine Maginnis, and she was married a little less than a year ago.  Her 
mother died when she was an infant, the same age as the infant daughter she 
leaves.  For many years she made her home with her aunt, Mrs. F. W. Stevenson, 
and she was generally known and beloved by a large circle of friends, and her 
untimely death is a cause of grief to many people in this city.  Date of 
funeral will be announced tomorrow.
