She was born Jan. 8, 1914, in Belding, the daughter of Harry and Winifred Smith Reeves. Iris was a graduate of Butterworth Hospital School of Nursing and was a former member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Miriam. She was married Jan. 5, 1934, in Greenville to Keith Westwood. He preceded her in death Dec. 18, 1979. She married J. Victor Taylor June 1, 1987. He survives along with one stepbrother and his wife, Lavern and June Larsen, and their two daughters, Judy Rienhart and Charlene Funk, all of Florida; two nieces, Mary Fredricks of Grand Rapids, Barbara Klein of Lansing; two nephews, Roland Breimayer of Cascade, Joseph Breimayer of Minneapolis, Minn. Iris was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Crystal Breimayer Laux. The Mass of Christian Burial was Aug. 11 in Inverness, Fla. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Cemetery, Belding, with the Rev. Father Troy Nevins officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph School, Belding. The Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, is serving the family.
