The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, June 22, 1981

Jeremy Paul Thelen, 15 months, the son of Ronald and Karen Simon Thelen died 
Sunday in Clinton Memorial Hospital.  He was born March 6, 1980, in Carson 
City.  

He is survived by his parents and two brothers, Chad and Jason, both at home.  
Also surviving are a grandmother and step-grandfather, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest 
(Joan Simon) Thelen of DeWitt, and a paternal grandfather, Joseph P. Thelen of 
Pewamo, and several aunts and uncles.  He was succeeded in death by 
grandfather Paul Simon and grandmother Rose Thelen.

Rosary services will be Monday at 2 and 8 p.m. at St. Mary’s Chapel, 
Westphalia.  Mass of the Angels will be said Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph 
Church, Pewamo, the Rev. Monsignor Thomas Bolger officiating.  Burial will be 
in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Mark, James, and Paul Simon and 
James Winslow.  Arrangement s by Neller Funeral Home, Portland.
