The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Thursday, March 6, 1941
Word has been received of the death of Frederick B. Thomas in Evanston 
hospital, March 4.  Mr. Thomas was born in Ionia April 28, 1876, the son of 
Dr. and Mrs. William B. Thomas.  He was graduated by the Ionia high school and 
the University of Chicago and had been engaged in the real estate business for 
many years in Winnetka, Illinois.

Of the immediately family surviving are his wife, Marion N. and son, Frederick 
Bradley, at home, and two daughters, Mrs. Warren J. Crumbine of Cleveland and 
Mrs. George W. Hinds, of Evanston, and a son, Bruce L. of Ocean Springs, 
Mississippi.  His sister, Mrs. Herbert A. Simpson is a resident of Ionia.

Rev. and Mrs. Simpson have been spending the winter in Evanston at the home of 
T. Stanley Simpson.
