Barbarsa A. Tichvon
Barbara A. Tichvon, 57, of Portland died Nov. 11, 1994

She was born in Portland July 15, 1937, the daughter of Charles and Evelyn (West) 
Mathews. Mrs. Tichvon was the principal and administrator of the St. Patrick
Catholic School in Portland and a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Tichvon; two daughters, Carol Lynn (Matthew)
Brooks of Clarksville and Laurie Ann Tichvon of Portland; three sons, Thomas Tichvon
of Charlotte, Andrew Tichvon of Kalamazoo, and Michael Tichvon  Grand Rapids; five 
grandchildren; one brother, John (Debra) Mathews of Portland; and two sisters, Jane
(Stanley) Platte of Fowler and Ann (Robert) Donoghue of Midland.

The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Nov. 15 at St. Patrick Catholic church
in Portland with the Rev. Julian Reginato officiating. Interment followed at Portland
Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Father Flohe Foundation.
