Ionia County News - Thursday, Feb. 5, 1953

Miles Tran, 61, of Orleans township,, died in Belding City Hospital at 11:50 
Saturday morning, January 24, of a heart condition.

He was born December 23, 1891, at Werdman, Isabella county, the son of Mr. 
and Mrs. Albert Tran, both now deceased.

He was married to Neva Cobert, February 17, 1913. and he lived in Belding 
seventeen years.

Surviving besides the wife, are two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Russman of 
Portland, and Mrs. Ardith Rittersdorf of route 2, Belding; two sons, Robert 
and Allan, both of Belding; two brothers, Fred of St. Johns and Lloyd of 
Grand Ledge; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Bensinger of Ann Arbor and Mrs. Nettie 
Biedstadt of St. Johns. 

Rev. H. S. Ellis officiated at the funeral service held January 27, from 
Ellis funeral home, Belding. Bearers were Herbert, Alfred, Maurice, William 
and George Chickering and Harold Wooldridge. Burial in Sebewa township 
cemetery.
