Belding Banner-News - Wed. Mach 9, 1921

Western Resident Died Here:
Winfield Tunkson, aged 57 years, of Walla Walla, Washington, died at the home 
of his sister, Mrs. Walter White, south and west of Smyrna, at 5 o’clock, 
Monday afternoon. Deceased had been in a hospital in the western city for a 
number of weeks and had been here about seven weeks. Death was caused by 
paralysis. Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the 
White home. Rev. H. S. Ellis officiating and burial will be in Smyrna cemetery.
