Sally (Seeger) his wife is 88 years of age. Jim was born December 3rd, 1943 to Lemmie M. & Alberta (Hensen) Weeks. Sally was born on March 7th, 1938 to Elmer A & Anna E (Reiser) Seeger. Jim graduated from Belding High School, class of 1961, then worked as a truck driver for over 30 years. Sally graduated from Blissfield High School, Class of 1956 & worked as a receptionist at Viatee for more than 40 years. Jim & Sally were married on July 6th, 1980, having 40 years of marriage together In retirement they operated their own business as a Plot Truck Operator, escorting boats to out-of-state destinations. They enjoyed traveling, tending to their yard, with the wild life & bird watching at home on the Flat River. They were active members of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Belding, serving various capacities & volunteering. Survived by a daughter Chris Slocum of Belding and son, Kyle Grinage (Janine) of Wellington, FL. Grandchildren, Lisa Almas (Curtis), Kyle Slocum (Cailyn),Trisha Slocum (Rick Mason), Linsey Gardner, Mark Grinage & Olivia Grinage. Great-grandchildren,Paris Almas, Tyler Slocum, Graham Slocum, Roary Slocum, Brooks Mason & Morgan Mason. Jm is survived by his sister, Karine Linebaugh & niece, Diana Quade of Cadillac & Nephews, Jeff & Doug Linebaugh of Ionia. They were preceded by their parents. Sally's brother & sister-in-law, Robert & Beverly Seeger & Jim's brother-in-law, Dwain Linebaugh. Visitation will be at Johnson & Feuerstein Funeral Home from 1:00pm-3:00pm & 5:00 pm.on Monday July 6th & 10:00 am on Tuesday. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday July 7th at 11 am. at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Wagner officiating Memorial contributions may be directeed to Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
