Lyons Herald, 9 Sep 1909

Emeline Welch died at the home of Dr. Fleming in Pewamo last Friday after a brief 
illness.  She was 86 years old and came to Lyons at a very early day.  The 
funeral was held Sunday at Pewamo with burial at Lyons.  A large number from here 
were present at the interment.
