Sentinel-Std. - Friday, Dec. 9, 1921

The funeral for Mrs. Catherine Welton was held at the Church of SS. Peter 
and Paul this morning at 9 o'clock. The Rev. Fr. John A. Gabriels conducted 
the services and preached the sermon, taking for his text, "What doth it 
profit a man to gain the whole world and suffer the loss of his immortal 
soul". The acolytes assisting were Amerigo Agostini, Laverne Macklin, James 
Scully, and Joseph McGannon. The pallbearers were T.A. Carten, William 
Longe, Thomas McGannon, Harry McGowan, James Lanahan, and Ed. Gallagher. 
Mrs. Welton was laid to rest beside the body of her husband in the family 
lot at Mt. Olivet cemetery. The music was furnished by the Academy double 
quarette with Miss Elizabeth Roth, directing.
