Ionia Sentinel Standard - September 13, 1965

                              MRS. MARGARET WERETTE

Mrs.Margaret Wernette, 65, of 530 East main Street, Saranac, died in Blodgett 
Memorial Hospital in Grand Rapids Sunday afternoon.

She was born in Ionia County October 8, 1899 the daughter of Albert and Mary 
Wickham Scheid and was married to Claude Wernette in Grand rapids in 1925. They 
lived in California and returned to Long Lake in 1962. After the death of her 
husband July 8, 1962, Mrs.Wernette moved to Pontiac and resided until may of 
1965 when she returned to live at Saranac.

She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church of Ionia.

Survivors include three brothers, Bernard Scheid of Saranac; Carl and Richard of 
Pontiac, six sisters, Mrs.Harold Egbert of Saranac, Mrs.Charles Dollinger, of 
Jackson,Mrs.Oval Leonard of Fenwick, Mrs.Paul Stamsen Jr. of Ionia. Mrs. Robert 
Shively of Lushberg, Ind., and Mrs.Omer Herron of Pontiac.

Rosary will be offered at 8 o'clock Tuesday evening at Myers Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be at SS.Peter & Paul Church at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will 
be at Balcom Cemetery.
