Maynard White, 86, of Ionia, passed away Jan. 5, 2015, in Ionia.  He was born
Aug. 12, 1928, in Ionia the son of Floyd and Nora (Pinkston) White.  Maynard
married Barbara Marion on March 18, 1954, in Indiana.  He was a member of the
First Christian Church of Ionia and Ionia Elks Lodge.  Maynard loved old cars
and enjoyed art, painting, and wood-carving.  He loved working with his hands.

Maynard is survived by his daughters, Laura (Dennis) Hague of West Olive, Cindy
Knott of Clarkston, and Robin Rogers of Kalamazoo; grandchildren, Marcie (Matt)
Suzio, Sarah Hague, Laura (Charles) Hoeft, Casey Knott, Sean Rogers, Chloe (AJ)
Mousseau, and Paige Rogers; great-grandchildren, Madelyn Suzio, Henry Suzio and
Aiden Hoeft.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara White; two
sisters and three brothers; and one grandson, Donald Clark Hague.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 8, 11 a.m. at First Christian
Church in Ionia with Pastor Armand Aronson officiating.  Visitation will be on
Wednesday, Jan. 7, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. 
Those wishing may make memorial contributions to First Christian Church of Ionia.
