                         CATHLENE DENISE WILCOX

MANISTEE - Cathlene Denise Wilcox, age 65 of Manistee, MI. entered into eternal 
glory, Friday, January 17, 2023 at her home, with her loving husband Jim by her 
side.

She was born June 5, 1957 in St.Johns,MI, daughter of Elsa (Heibeck) and the 
late Virgil McGinnis. She was a graduate of Ionia High School with the class of 
1975. She then attended Ferris State University. Cathy married James E.Wilcox 
Jr. on August 18, 1992 in Manistee, MI. Upon moving to Manistee, Cathy's warm 
and welcoming demeanor was known to all as she greeted many members of the 
community on a daily basis.

Most recently, she was employed with Morton Salt Company of Manistee as an 
Executive Assistant and Supervisor of Shipping on second shift.

Cathy was an avid quilter and enjoyed using her time and talents t craft 
personalized quilts for family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her 
family, especially her grandchildren. Cathy also loved gazing over God's 
beautiful creations with Jim as together they enjoyed the scenery of Lake 
Michigan beaches and sunsets.

Cathy is survived by her husband James"Jim" E. Wilcox Jr.;her children, John 
Clair Schultz of Ionia,MI, Courtney Marie Schultz of Manistee,MI, Rebeckah 
Rivera, of Mesa, AZ; James (Kelly) Wilcox of Kentwood, MI and Jennifer Wilcox of 
Grand Rapids,MI; her grandchildren, Landon, Ellsa, Nolan, Jack,Andrew,Mark, 
Jonathan, Tyler, Lauren, Brody and Lute; 2 brothers. Christopher (Cindy) 
McGinnis of Saginaw,MI and Craig McGinnis of Ionia,MI; 2 sisters, Cynthia (Tim) 
Higbee of Ionia,MI and Constance McGinnis of Hastings, MI; numerous aunts, 
uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews also survived her. Their pug 
puppies, "Molly" and "Maggie" also absorb the loss.

A gathering to celebrate Cathy's life will be held at a later date.

The Herbert Funeral Home of Manistee is in charge of arrangements.
