Wilson, 89, well known Sebewa township farmer, died Monday afternoon at the home of his son, Victor Wilson, following a ten days illness from bronchial trouble. Funeral services were held at the residence this afternoon, in charge of Rev. John H. Stewart, with burial in the Lake Odessa cemetery. Mr. Wilson was born in Detroit, where 55 years ago he was united in marriage to Miss Marie Honor, who passed away four years ago. Forty-nine years ago the couple came to Sebewa and settled on the place now known as the Frank Campbell farm where they lived about 16 years when they moved to a farm on the Sebewa- Danby townline. Remaining on that place for four years they then moved to the farm where the death of both occurred. Mr. Wilson was prominent in religious affairs of the township having for many years been an ardent member of the Methodist church. One son, Victor Wilson, who now resides on the old homestead, survives. There are eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. ---- Nearing his 90th birthday, Arthur Wilson, of Sebewa township, died at the home of his son, Victor, his only living child, Monday afternoon. He was 89 and had been in reasonably good health until two weeks before his death. His wife died four years ago. He located in Sebewa township many years ago. Funeral services were held at the house Thursday afternoon and burial was beside the remains of his wife in Lake Odessa cemetery.
