The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, April 2, 1990

Laura A. Young, 92, of Easton Township, died March 30 at the Lowell Medical 
Care Center.  She was born May 5, 1897, the daughter of George and Elma Smith 
Gott in Easton Township.  He was a life member of the Order of the Eastern 
Star and was  former township officer.  She was married to Ernest J. Young 
Feb. 8, 1916, who was a farmer.  He died on Nov. 13, 1985.  

A brother, A. W. Gott, also preceded her in death in 1975.  She is survived by 
nieces and nephews.

Complete funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home.  
The family will be at the funeral home an hour prior to the funeral service, 
at which the Rev. Kendall Harger of Shiloh Community Church will officiate.  A 
private burial service will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Ionia.
