Daughters of Daniel Augustus Tainter and Alice Eliza Hull. Madge Tainter born March 15, 1869 in Onondaga, Ingham County, MI, married Melza Clinton Brown in 1903 in Boyne City, MI, had 3 sons, 2 born in Kalamazoo. Vincent Allison Brown, born Kalamazoo in Aug. 20, 1904, Kenneth Willard Brown born Nov. 1906 in Kalamazoo and Gerald Daniel Brown born 1911 in Boyne City, MI. Madge worked for Grace Corset Company of Kalamazoo from the early 1900's until her retirement in the 1940's. She died in Kalamazoo January 26th, 1954. Alice Marian Tainter was born in Evangeline Township, Charlevoix County, MI Dec. 27th, 1880, she never married and was a school teacher and later a stenographer at Kalamazoo State Hospital. She died May 31, 1945 in Kalamazoo, MI.
