Herrick District Library - Obituries Collections (1940-2008), Holland, MI
Alvin Stephenson, 83, of Zeeland, died Saturday, April 1, at a local care 
facility.
Alvin was the former owner of Stephenson Construction. He was a member of 
North Street Christian Reformed Church.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Grace Evelyn Stephenson, in 1967, 
and his second wife, Doris Stephenson, in 1981.
He is survived by his daughters Carol A Gras of Zeeland and Linda R. 
Stephenson of Allegan, son Alan and Mary Stephenson of Zeeland, 7 
grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law; Mr. and 
Mrs. James Sterken of Holland, Mrs. John (Clara) Stephenson of Holland, Mr. 
Everet Kleinjans of Hawaii.
Service was held Tuesday, April 4, at Yntema Funeral Home, with the Rev. 
Bernard Tol officiating. Interment was in Zeeland Cemetery.
