Elliott "Butch" Kolomak
July 19, 1946 – April 20, 2025
Elliot Kolomak age 78 of Marlette died April 20, 2025.  He was born in Harbor 
Beach to Alfred and Twila Kolomak.  He graduated from Harbor Beach High School 
Class of 1964.  He married Marlene Salowitz on April 1, 1967.  Elliot retired 
from Ford Motor Company having worked at the tractor plant, the trim plant and 
Romeo engine plant.  Prior to that he had worked at Active Homes and Dot 
Manufacturing.  He enjoyed camping with the family and working on cars.  Elliot 
loved to keep busy and spend time with his grandchildren.  He attended Marlette 
Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife Marlene, children Robert Kolomak and Kimberly (David) 
Pape, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation at Marlette First Church from 10:00 until 11:00 am.  A memorial 
service will be held May 3, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Marlette First Church 
formerly known as United Methodist Church, with a meal to follow.  Arrangements 
by Carman Funeral Home, Brown City.  Published Sanilac County News Thursday 
April 30, 2025.
