	Carl J Summers, 60, of 2517 Oak Street died today in University Medical Center,
Ann Arbor, after a short illness.  He was born March 2, 1903.
	Mr. Summers was a local painter and carpenter and operated a mosquito control
service.
	He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lenore Summers; two daughters Mrs. Janet
Hasse, Warren, Mich. and MRs. June Klein, Capac; a son Rev. Vern (sic) Summers,
Elk Rapids, Mich, a stepson, Jack Harland, Port Huron, a sister Mrs. Ethel
Pallister, Almont, two brothers Clinton Summers, Texas and Clare C. Summers,
Port Huron, and 18 grandchildren.
	The remains will be taken to Barnard Funeral Home, Capac.   Arrangements are
incomplete.

December 24, 1963
	Service 2 pm Thursday.  Barnard Funeral Home Capac.  Elder John R. Grice of
Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints officiate.
