This is to certify that Thomas J.D. Clark age 27 years of the township of Fairgrove, 
Tuscola County and State of Michigan and Miss Martha Y. Smith age 24 years of the same 
place were by me joined in matrimony according to the laws of the State of Michigan, on 
the twenty third day of September one thousand eight hundred and sixty at the house of 
Levi Hawkins in Fairgrove.

This certifies that Elijah Botsford of the township of Ellington, County of Tuscola and 
State of Michigan being 33 years of age and Ann Eliza Richards of the township of Almer, 
County State aforesaid being 20 years of age were united in matrimony by me on the 16 day 
of September 1860 in the Township of Almer, County of Tuscola, State of Michigan agreeably 
to the laws of said State in the presence of Peter S?ber of the town of Ellington and 
Mary S?ber of the same place.  Given under my hand this 31st day of October AD 1860.
