Arenac County Independent, 1919 Transcriber, date unknown Contributor Kay Mason BRIGHT YOUNG LIFE TAKEN After an illness extending over nine weeks Miss Margaret Bolt died at a Saginaw hospital Sunday shortly after midnight. She had been taken there a week before to have an operation performed which was expected to relieve her of a nervous disorder from which she had been suffering. While walking in her sleep she fell from a hotel window, severely injuring her head. She never rallied sufficiently to have the operation. Miss Bolt is daughter of Supervisor and Mrs. R. Bolt of Jarvis Center and born in Saginaw on Aug. 21, 1896. After graduating from the Standish high school and Arenac County normal in 1915 she taught school at Maple Grove two years and at Deep River two years. Besides her parents she leaves two sisters, Edith and Helen. Miss Bolt was of a particularly sunny disposition and was a general favorite with all who knew her. Her many friends extend sincerest sympathy to the bereaved family in their great sorrow. The body was brought to Standish Tuesday afternoon and was taken to her home in Jarvis Center until the funeral services which will be held at the Standish M. E. Church Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be made in Woodmere Cemetery.
