The Flint Journal, date unknown Transcriber, date unknown Contributor unknown Date of Death: April 30, 1932 CAMERON, Donald, 82 years old, died Saturday at his home, 1661 Beach Street [Flint, MI], of the infirmities of old age, after an illness of more than one year. He was born at Cumberland, Ontario, January 24, 1850, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cameron, and lived there a number of years before going to Sterling, Mich., where he resided for 40 years. He came to Flint from his home at Sterling 16 years ago. He married Anna Johnston at Sterling, June 9, 1897. He was a member of Lodge No. 268, I. O. O. F. of Sterling. Surviving besides his wife are two his wife are two sons, Archie [Johnston], of Greencourt, Alberta, Canada, and Donald of Flint; five daughters, Mrs. L. D. Carpenter [Ellen Johnston], Mrs. Warren Stout [Blanche Johnston], Mrs. Paul Schantz [Marian] and Mrs. Ralph [Beatrice] Powers, all of Flint, and Flora, at home; one sister, Mrs. George Keeney of Sterling; 21 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. [According to Donald Cameron's death certificate he is buried at Sterling]
