Arenac County Independent, Wednesday, March 13, 1935 Transcriber, date unknown Contributor unknown Death of Mrs. Fred Decker Lydia M. Cisco was born August 7, 1876 in Sanilac county. At an early age she moved with her parents to Arenac county, near Maple Ridge, where she died March 8. She was united in marriage to Fred Decker in 1895. To this happy union were born seven sons, of whom six remain, Lloyd having died at the age of two years. Mrs. Decker was converted and united with the Free Methodist church in Maple Ridge. Survivors are the widower, Fred Decker; six sons, William and Glenn, Flint; Clyde, Millington; Roosevelt, West Branch; Archie and Kieth, Maple Ridge; five sister, Mrs. Ella Fritz, Ann Arbor; Mrs. Edith Holmes, Marquette; Mrs.Agnes Henery, St. Helens; Mrs. Zelta Borsheim, Standish; Mrs. May Smith, Maple Ridge; one brother, Charles Cisco, Flint; and a host of friends. Services were held from the Maple Ridge F.M. church Sunday, Mar. 10. Rev. A.A.Davis, former pastor there, officiated and was assisted by Rev. Bertha Davis. Burial took place in the Clayton cemetery.
