David Andrew Morley was born in Ontario, Canada, April 27 1861 and passed away August 3, 1936 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Gage. Cause of death was a stroke. He was united in marriage February 12, 1884 to Isabella Harrington of Ontario. Shortly after they were married they came to Moores Junction where they settled and cleared up the farm where they lived until after the death of his wife February 28, 1919. To this union were born 10 children, four of whom are living. They are Mrs. Alice Gage, Standish; William, Moores Junction; Tracey, Tacoma, Washington; & Mrs. Emma Parow of Dearborn; 16 grandchildren, nieces and nephews & a host of friends & neighbors to mourn his loss. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Free Methodist church with Rev. Bertha Davis officiating. Burial was in the family lot at Sterling.
