Lansing State Journal, August 11, 1990 Transcriber, date unknown Contributor unknown Obit: Alexander H. Morley formerly of Lansing, age 79, passed away August 9, 1990 in St. Louis, MI. He was born June 1, 1911 in Moores Junction, MI and had been a resident of Lansing for many years. He was employed with Michigan State University in the Poultry Science Department for 35 years, retiring in 1973, when he moved to St. Louis. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. Surviving are 5 children, Joyce (Forrest) Dunlap of DeWitt, Ray (Laura) Hart of Haslett, Clifford (Dorothy) Hart of Perrysburg, OH, Sandra Hart of Lansing, Nancy (Kelly) Hodges of St. Louis; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Lawrence Morley of Standish, Lloyd and Bruce Morley, both of Sterling, MI; several nieces and nephews. Religious services will be conducted by The Rev. Richard Kuhn, of First United Methodist Church of St. Louis, at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Estes-Leadly Greater Lansing Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be his grandsons: Greg Dunlap, Steven Dunlap, Michael Hart, Mitchell Hart, Charles Hart, Gary Hart, Clifford Hart, Jr., William Hart, John Hodges and Christian Hodges. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family to the Patient Equipment Locker.
