This cemetery is owned and very well maintained by the Village of Freeport and it is still being used for burials. The records were first published from records, which were compiled by the Hastings Barry County Historical/Genealogical Society in 1997. Ruth McMonigle and Sara Colburn walked the cemetery in 2006. Update in November 2009.
