The famous published genealogy of The Elder John Crandall is the ancestral line of Kidder Crandall's family, and his ancestral line traces back to The Elder Brewster who came to America on The Mayflower.

At some point around 1860-70 Kidder lived in Lawrence Co. IN.and married a Civil War widow Then Moved to Berrien Springs area MI. Per Nye family tree, Kidder Crandall and his second wife Mary Elizabeth Kidder had no children together. They were supposedly cousins. There is no death record found at this time for Kidders First wife Polly. Kidder lived in Ohio Indiana and New York finally passing away in MI.

daughter is 6yrs, so it appears that Polly "maria" died between 1873 and 1880
