History: Ives Cemetery "aka" Harrah Road or Morris Farm Cemetery per old records, shows an early burial in 1848, but it is felt by this author that there were earlier burials.
On 10 Oct 1840, Timothy H Ives purchased 142 acres in Section 29, twp 7-S Range 17-W in Berrien County. It is supposed that he is probably buried on this land but does not appear on earlier read listings, but appears in the 1860 Mortality schedule for Berrien County. Familiy histories state he was born 1796 in Brookfield twp, Tioga County, PA.
This cemetery is located on private proptery. Permission should be sought from land owner before examining graves.
