Located on private property on Friday Road just a half mile South of Camody Road - in Bainbridge Township
in section 5, this is the land that Peter Kniebes and descendents settled in. He and his father Jacob arrived in the area in about
1840 along with other friends of Bavarian - German decent. Some of the other families were John David Fridays,
Nickolas Kibler, George Muth, Charles Arent, David Koob, Lewis Umphrey, Frank Krietner, Lawrence Koob,
Adam Hover, Christian Kniebes. Also the Krieger, Scherer, Butzbach and Weber families.
Some are laid to rest in the Kniebes Cemetery, while others find their final rest in various other local cemeteries.
