Brief History: per: Twentieth Century History - Berrien County - A Union church at Long Lake was established in 1856 to be used by all denominations. The organizations that made most use of this struture were the Lutherans, United Brethren and the Baptists. Some of the early trustees were: Michael Hand, George H. Claypool and Andrew L. Burke.
