North Shore MemoryGardens
Located on M-63 in Hagar Township.

The Cemetery was developed in about 1953 and was owned and operated by a private corporation. Located about 6 miles North of Benton Harbor. At that time it was carved out of the William Anderson Farm and boasted 20 acres of ground. This cemetery is noted for its flush type markers, which allows for easier maintenance. First burial at the new cemetery was that of Mr. Charles Pullins who died November 29, 1953 and was buried on or about December 2, 1953. Two of the first areas, as all would be later, are after the events of Christ. The first burial area was named Christus Circle and then the second being Gethsemene. In the December 1953 articles it was stated that there would be 8 garden areas in total with the ability to receive 2,500 burials.
