| EARLY, MAY GERMOND: (1879-1923): "May Germond Early, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Germond, was born in Butler Twp., Branch Co., August 19, 1879. She was united in marriage to Arthur EARLY in February, 1898 and to this union three children were born, all of whom are living: Mrs. Phebe NASH, of Albion; Mrs. Veda LINTON of Cleveland; and Mrs. Vida KNOBLOUCK of Owosso. Mr. Farley (sic) passed away November 18, 1920. There are six grandchildren. Mrs. Early has been in poor health for the past two years, passing away at the home of her parents in this village December 9, 1923, at the age of 44 years, 3 months, 20 days. Funeral services were conducted at Riverside chapel Tuesday, Rev. R. V. Birdsell officiating. Interment was made in Riverside Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were in charge of A. C. Cheney. Among the out of town people who attended funeral services for Mrs. Mae (sic) Germond Early last week were Mr. and Mrs. L. O. Cook, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Cook from Litchfield, Mrs. Hiram Wheeler from Homer, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Palmer and Vern Palmer from Rives Junction, Mrs. Will Hartley, Mr. and Mrs. L. Cooper from Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. Aasil Early, Albert Early, from Grass Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hartley, Ohio. (Source: maryhitt@aol.com) |
