The Jordan Valley District Library now houses the genealogical library of the late Jean Kershner Flanders. This library is classified as reference and cannot be borrowed from the library. This guarantees that no one can go to the library only to find that the book they were looking for is out on loan.
They also have a microfilm reader/printer.
The web site for the East Jordan Historical Society is still in the planning stage.
There is an East Jordan Historical Museum (616-536-2393).
