This week's file

This site has been active for over three years, over which time I have indexed large amounts of records for Charlevoix County. In November of 1998 I started placing a weekly file here. After the week is up the file will be replaced with another one, and last week's file will disappear. I will keep the prior weeks' file available to give everyone a second chance to view it. After that time they will probably not be a permanent part of this site until after they are published in the newsletter of the Charlevoix County Genealogical Society.

I regret that I seem to be falling behind lately. The plat book index is taking more time than anticipated, but I feel that it needs to be seen through. I thought after labor day I could get back to business, but instead I have been putting birth records online.
