By James Carson. The above new and commodious house is now open for the reception of visitors, furnished in a style that will insure the comfort and convenience of the public. The proprietor confidently hopes that strict personal attention to business, with unremitting exertion to please, will enable him to make his guest 'at home' during their stay at the Saut.

The Table will be furnished with all the delicacies of the season, and the Bar with choice Wines and Liquors.

LAKE SUPERIOR FORWARDING & COMMISSION WAREHOUSE & MINING AGENCY;
L.W. Tinker & Co., having erected a large and commodious warehouse at the Saut de Ste Marie, are prepared to receive and forward all goods and merchandise destined for the Copper Region, on the most favorable terms, and without unnecessary delay. Goods will be received at the foot of the rapids and conveyed across the portage by teams, in readiness for immediate shipment.

They will contract for the transmission of merchandise at the lowest rates, from Boston, New York, Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Detroit, to Lake Superior.

LAKE SUPERIOR HOUSE;

The Public are respectfully informed that the subscribers have completed their new and commodious public house, and it is now open for the reception of travelers and boarders.

To the traveling public, and especially those visiting the mineral region of Lake Superior, their house possesses advantages inviting particular attention.

The Lake Superior House is situated on a high, airy and dry elevation, on the Main street leading from the foot to the head of the Portage, all the travel and business of both places passing within a few feet of the door. From the windows of the house, a most delightful view can be had of the town, the river and falls, the Canada shore, and the surrounding country.

Messrs. Stevens & Cornwall, having become the Proprietors of the Ste. Marie Hotel, formerly known as the Algomah House, would respectfully announce to the traveling public that they are prepared to receive and entertain guests in a style that will ensure entire satisfaction on teh part of the sojourner. The house has undergone many alterations and improvements, which now make it in point of convenience, neatness and order, unsurpassed by any hotel northwest of Detroit.

It is the determination of the Proprietors that the Ste. Marie Hotel shall be second to none in all that pertains to the character of a first rate house. It will be their especial care that visitors to the mineral regions or elsewhere, shall receive every accomodation, and that no expense or attention shall be spared in furnishing the larder at all times with the choicest articles that can be procured. Airy and commodious rooms will be provided for families who wish to remain a length of time.

Fishing parties will be furnished with tackling and boats when desired.

VAN ANDEN HOUSE;
This house has been extensively enlarged, newly finished and furnished, and a portion expressly fixed up for the accomodation of Ladies and Families. The location is in full view of the Falls, with fine prospects of the river up and down. Within a few rods is the finest fishing in the universal world, where speckled trout and every variety of Lake and River fish are taken in abundance. No pains will be spared for the comfort and accomodation of visitors.
