BYRON, GEORGE W.
Formerly of 900 Center St.

Age 91. Passed away Oct. 4, 1964 at Racine County Hospital.  Born in Racine
 on Sept. 15, 1873, Mr. Byron had lived in this city all of his life.  His 
parents, pioneer residents of Racine, were Capt. William and Nancy Byron, 
who preceded him in death.  He was a life member of St. Luke's Episcopal 
Church.  Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. S. L. (Helen) Breitung, Racine; 
one son, William Byron, Miami, Fla.; four grandchildren, Nancy Breitung Ritt, 
Los Angeles, Calif., William Byron Jr., Miami, Fla.;  Mary Byron Cochran, 
Huntington Beach, Fla.  His wife, Emma, passed away in 1957.  Graveside 
services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2 p.m., Rev. Winfield Post officiating.  
Interment will be in Mound Cemetery.  A Requiem Mass will be said Tuesday, 
7 a.m., in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit of St. Luke's Church.  There will 
be no visitation in the funeral home.  Wilson Funeral Home, 1139 Blaine Ave.,
