Note: Russell Ervay, moved West in 1920, they never heard from him again.  They hired a private detective to try to find him, they never had any luck. They assumed he either died or got killed, so the family history goes.

Orrin Lorenzo Ervay

ORRIN LORENZO ERVAY was born May 12, 1848 in New York, son of DANIEL ERVAY and ELIZA ELIZABETH WISE, and died April 13, 1907 in Carmel Township, Eaton County, Michigan.  He married MARY ELIZABETH BARNES October 14, 1874 in Fairplains, Michigan.  She was born September 03, 1854 in Nelson, Portage County, Ohio, and died April 17, 1919 in Charlotte, Eaton County, Michigan.   

Children of ORRIN ERVAY and MARY BARNES are:

                   i.       FLORENCE ELMA ERVAY, b. December 25, 1875, Fairplains,  Montcalm County, Michigan; d. February 08, 1964, Nursing home, Charlotte, Eaton County, Michigan; m. GEORGE WILLIAM ROOT, March 24, 1897, M. E. Church, Potterville, Eaton County, Michigan; b. May 27, 1867, Dover Township, Cuyahoga County, Ohio; d. July 01, 1940, Roxand Township,  Eaton County,  Michigan.

                  ii.       AVIS LODISKA ERVAY, b. December 09, 1877, Montcalm County, Michigan; d. March 10, 1957; m. WILLIAM GOMELL.

                 iii.       ZEPH D. ERVAY, b. September 05, 1879, Montcalm County, Michigan; d. September 08, 1912; m. ADDIE CAROLINE MCKIMMY, July 05, 1910, Adrian, Michigan; b. March 25, 1883, Ogden Township, Michigan; d. August 08, 1975, Schnepp Nursing Home, Gladwin, Michigan.

                 iv.       CECILIA ERVAY, b. October 28, 1880, Montcalm County, Michigan; d. November 25, 1945.

                  v.       GRACE ERVAY, b. March 16, 1881, Montcalm County, Michigan; d. 1949.

                 vi.       FORREST CHARLES 'FORRY' ERVAY, b. February 18, 1884, Montcalm County, Michigan; d. January 03, 1948.
