The 2 boys standing to the left of the woman in the hat are Lawrence E. Austin,
(my father), and Howard Knapp standing just right of him. Howard Knapp and
Lawrence Austin were first cousins and best friends all through school and
beyond until my father Lawrence E. Austin died in 1965. Howard Knapp was the son
of Sarah May Jackson Knapp sister to my father's mother, Mercy Ann
Jackson-Austin. Howard was born in 1900 and my dad was born in 1901.
Their ages look like somewhere between 6-8 years..
