KELLY, James L, 2526 Lawndale Ave., age 33, died Sunday, July 22, 1951, at
Hurley Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1 P. M. Wednesday, July 25,
1951, from Colonial Chapel, Reigle Funeral Home, 2417 S. Saginaw St., the Rev.
Lloyd H. Nixon officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Body will be at
the funeral home. Death was due to an automobile accident. He was born in
Flint April 3, 1918, son of Frank and Stella Kelly and lived in Flint his
entire lifetime. He was employed at Buick Motor Co. Surviving are; Son,
Billy of Montebello, California; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kelly of Flint; 3
brothers, Earl of Columbus, Ohio. Bob and Don, both of Flint; 3 sisters,
Dorothy of Flint, Mrs. Darrell DeRyk of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. George
Wernette of Flint; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

I would like to thank Phil Jackson for sending me this obit which I have been
looking for over the years. Phil and I have both searched for information on
the mysterious James L. Kelly.
